Our Background
A subsidiary of J Marr (Shipping) Limited, Marr Vessel Management Limited was formally established in 1987, although the Group's active involvement in Research and Survey vessels spans some 30 years.
Day to day management of the vessels is conducted from our offices in Cranswick near Driffield, East Yorkshire in the UK. Supporting technical management can also be undertaken utilising the company's Aberdeen office as a base.
The Ship Management function is formally documented within an approved Safety Management System. This system establishes the parameters for the ship management function and the interface between the management team and seagoing personnel.
A further subsidiary of the Shipping group, Northern Crewing Services Limited, was also formed in 1987 to compliment the management function and supplies crewing, administration and associated management services.
